Michael Harrington is a Principal Engineer for the Applied Physics Laboratory at the University of Washington. He was the System Engineer for RSN during the design phase of the project including specifying and monitoring of the Primary Infrastructure construction. Later he lead the team that designed, built, tested and installed the Secondary Nodes. He has been part of the Applied Physics Laboratory Electronic Systems Department since 2003 building acoustic data collection and analysis systems. For 10 years he was a lead engineer for an MIT startup company that built innovative motion tracking devices for interactive visualization systems.
